How To See and Interpret The Aura
Excerpt from Dikki-Jo’s book “The Corn Goddess Chronicle”
The aura is the term used to identify the life force, the energy field attached to all living things. With human beings usually there will be two inner colors near the head, reflecting the inner nature. A third color, an outer band, shows the side of the self projected to others. That’s the personality layer. Interactions with other people as well as the external environment are described by this outer band of color. Ribbons of light and sparkles can intertwine with the auric field. The aura tends to be widest and most detailed around the head and shoulders, but its egg-shaped field does envelope the whole body. The hands carry a strong surge of auric energy. Sharing a simple handshake can become a type of aura reading. The feelings projected and energies exchanged offer much information to the sensitive.
While animals and plants don’t show the colors that people have, both are surrounded by a distinctive blue-gray life force field. A walk outdoors after a storm or under a Full Moon is an ideal time to observe this. Subdued lighting tends to make aura sighting easier. A meditation on your own face in a mirror with soft light and a plain background can facilitate the perception of the auras shimmering haze. Colors and symbols often emerge, adding detail and more clarity to the vibrations. Shades closest to the head indicate the inner nature, while hues banding out further reveal interaction with others and surroundings. The colors added to wardrobe and décor choices tend to enhance personal charisma. Colors are all different waves in the visible spectrum of sunlight, the source of all life. The colors around us can impact the aura and thus life itself.
