Unforgettable Lemonade Recipe

Tea and lemonade are traditional refreshments served during séance gatherings. Here is an especially delicious lemonade to serve which is certain to please and impress guests and visitors on both sides of the veil.
Citrus Fruits are ruled by the Sun astrologically and each day the Sun shines longer during the bright and hot days of the season. Here is an especially refreshing lemon or limeade recipe to celebrate Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of summer and enjoy through the autumnal equinox. Use less sugar to adapt for an orangeade. Using lemons … Juice 8 lemons, take a 9th lemon and slice it in thin rounds and set aside. Add 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar and 3 cups of water and the lemon half rinds to the lemon juice. Bring the brew to a boil in a sauce pan and simmer to make a syrup. This takes about 15 minutes, let the mixture thoroughly cool. Strain. Take several sprigs of fresh mint, bruise it a bit and add to about 6 cups of cold water and the lemon mixture. Then put ice cubes in glasses, fill with the lemonade and mint, then float a thin lemon slice on top. Toast the sunlight and welcome the bright beautiful days ahead.
